Learned something interesting last night at church…about scorpions haha.

Apparently Bedouin tribes use a sheepskin rope to protect themselves from the vile critters…they encircle their area when sleeping/eating and the scorpions won’t cross the circle because the only animal in the world they fear is….(drumroll)….a sheep. Sheep are the only animals that eat scorpions. Basically, this was a sermon in nature…Jesus is the Lamb and satan is a scorpion. Stay within the parameters of God (i.e. following commandments) and you won’t be “stung” by sin.

This is a rough draft of a logo we were asked to create for a *fake* popcorn company. For some reason i’m really into this whole “dropshadow” thing and it appears in 70% of my work. ARGH! :)

There is a massive storm warning out for downtown Portland…fantastic, since I walk and use the transit there all day. Good thing I don’t have an umbrella to keep me dry :)
